Help Desk: Topic 24 bit textures

Alright my people its time for the second topic. This time its going to be about 24 bit textures.

Textures have been used sense 2003. I still work with them today. I have sent textures to the following people and they seem to be happy with them

Snake
Rachel
Lap
Help747
8ball
Dakini
Robert Munch
Gnarler
Papa Bendi
Dave
Specture
Avirox
Vercci

These add a new twist to the map cause mine look better. I didnâ€™t make all of them. Some of them I got with I got my fuhquake and just copy and paste them where they are needed. Munch if you would take a screen shot of my textures from Halloween that is around the cauldron and post it.

Coop Textures

Team Fortress Textures

These are zip files. What you need to do is unzip them. Inside them are folders. Lets use the rock2 as the example. Inside the zip file is a folder called rock2. What you need to do is copy that folder to your quake/qw/textures folder. Then it would look like quake/qw/textures/rock2. If you all want to try them and you have trouble then post so I can help you.

I tried to unzip the rock2 textures but there seems to be a problem with it. something about unfamiliar format or something...

what program are you using vercci. I used compressed folder to make it. winwar wont work with it.

I tried opening it with winrar at first. Now I tried that compressed folder and it says it's corrupted

I've tried this with the halloween one and it works (as in it unzips with winrar with no problems)
