Ummmm...

Where is everyone? Everytime I check the server browser, its empty?

I just got my computer running Quake again. I reformatted, etc.

How is everyone doing? Very Happy

I could ask the same question GJ...

The prospect of AGR on Tastyspleen's gimped server is a far cry from what many of us would like in CuTF but at the moment its the only organized game. Other than that you have to guess when players will be on and hope people join a server eg like I did on CuTF 4TP last Sunday....

As this forum is the only CuTF Hub it doesn't bode well what with Rach disappearing into the abyss and old post forever lost.

Also, most players don't come to this forum.

Forgive my lack of memory, but I'd like more info on steam.. I am so out of date on this stuff since my vacation had eradicated all but my cooperative quake skills (I would LOVE to play some CuTF with you guys!).

And the ability to make maps. :P

What a bummer. TF might really be dead? I thought I'd never see the day. Of course, I still feel like it could be 1998. It only seemed like yesterday I was learning how to throw a grenade and staying up all night long playing Well6 with 32 people and 400 ping.

Those were the days.

Now we've got 1000's of maps, awesome pings, beautiful graphics and no people playing.

The last few years playing here on PhoenixLabs have been great. There were some awesome games and lots of cool people. Also some assholes who inspired me to play harder to kick their faces in! (Cuff-Em).

I believe it was last summer when it semed as if it was just me and Spectre playing day in and day out. Then all of a sudden, right around Thanksgiving, we got a surge and I'm fairly certain we were getting about 20-30 players. It was bizzare. I dont know where everyone came from. Maybe this year we will be able to host a few games and have some fun.

I think that held through during the winter months...do most people come back during then or what? We'll have to wait and see I guess.

I'll be around and please email me through the forum if you're ever interested in playing.

If you are desperate enough, OMC-TF is still going on, on Sunday nights. Often has been trying to get people to play 4TP on Saturday nights. I don't know whether he has given up on that yet or not.

I have not given up, the server hostname will stay like that wether it gets players or not. This way there is a chance of occasional players joining.

Although is difficult for players to be aware of the 4TP server, no place to announce it other than this forum, and that sucks. Also OMC doesn't want me to promote the saturdays sessions on his server.
